Headlight Alignment Tips
Back to Tips

Obtained from GL1800.org

Aligning the lights is easy.  Here is what I did

-Put it on the centerstand
-Start it up
-Stand in front of the bike
-Reach under as if you were going to unplug the headlight
-Locate (on each light) the headlight adjuster motors
-On each motor is a big plastic gear
-You can rotate the gear by hand one way lowers the light, the other way obviously raises it

- NOTE: you can also increase the maximum height setting of your headlight beams this way too.
